NEW SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Hello all, Since the old blog of guidelines was very old and outdated, I would like to make a new one! please take a gander at these if you would like to contribute to our group! (also I sounded like a jerk in the last one)

Digital art

Art finalized or created entirely on the computer go here. Anything clay, pencil, markers, crayons, etc does NOT go here. if it was sketched on paper and completed in the computer, it goes here. And by completed on the computer we mean through Photoshop/SAI/Fire Alpaca/GIMP/ any other computer imaging software you may use.

Traditional art

Completed pictures done entirely on paper with copics/colored pencils/crayons/paint etc. go here.
Please DON'T submit pictures like this into digital art. So many people have made this mistake. And do not submit pictures completed on the computer in here.

Artisan crafts

necklaces, rings, statues, covers, etc. those kinds of jewelry and cute items go here. Must be traditional, 3D digitalized work belongs in the 3D folder.

Anthro

Dragons with human-like features submitted here. So if they stand upright, have human chests/torsos, but still sustain dragon features. please don't submit photos that are too sexual in here, keep those for mature.

Sketches/WIPs

uncompleted pictures go here, digital or traditional.

Fan Art

If this is art of a trademarked character, it goes here. Spyro/How to train your dragon/Dragon-type Pokemon/Eragon etc go here. Artwork with original characters with a trademarked character (like your OC and spyro) can also go here.

Literature

Any writings/types of fanfiction (poems/short stories/novels/etc.) go here

Comics

Comic pages/covers go here. aka pictures with multiple panels inside that tell a story. these can be digital or traditional, singular or part of a series. If the comic is mature, it belongs in the mature folder.

Reference sheets

Reference sheets go here, as the title says. Anything that shows a full design of a character in a basic stance or a family tree.

Adoptables/Auctions

Characters/Dragons Available for adopting go here. Please only submit open adoptables, and remove the closed ones when you're done!

Mature

Mature work goes here (nudity/heavy blood and gore/sexual pictures) all go here REGARDLESS of medium. If it has a filter and is digital/traditional/tutorial/reference/comic it goes here, that way members can control what they see going through our gallery. PLEASE put a filter on your artwork, out of courtesy to other members.

Miscellaneous

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it fits here!

Scribbles

Doodles you don't plan on finishing. sketches, stupid things, etc. Sketches can also go into the sketechs/Wips folder. Mostly less serious sketches, more "serious sketches" (that is, sketches that were originally intended to be finished) go in Sketches/WIPS. But we are not too strict on this.

Tutorials

Show everyone how you draw your dragons! these must be a step by step processes that lead to a finished product, those go here.

Skins

Journal skins go here, must be dragon related!

Animations and pixel art

anything that moves or was made specifically to be pixel goes here (sprites, etc)

3D

anything made with 3D Studio Max or Garry's mod or Zbrush etc. go here. 3D animations also belong in this folder.

DO NOT SUBMIT

Journals: Journals (commissions, information, contests, etc) won't be allowed to submit and will be automatically declined, also deviations about commission information. This is a group strictly dedicated to dragon art not for advertising.
Non-Dragon art: This group is strictly dedicated to dragon art, no matter how good nor advanced your art is, it must be dragon art if you want to submit it to our group.
To Closed folders: If they are closed, they are either expired events or full. do not submit here, your submissions will be declined.
To old contest folders: If the contest is over, please don't submit to these folders past the deadline. Keep an eye out for active contests!

Please respect these rules before submitting anything or simply asking the admins a question, thank you!
